TMG & ThinkFitness

TMG- UK have recently partnered with ThinkFitness, the leading performance company providing specialist support throughout football.

Developed through practical experiences of working at the highest level of professional football, ThinkFitness are able to apply the latest scientific developments in an applied way, maximising potential and ultimately performance.

 
Following an exhaustive assessment, through the use of TMG as a method to detect muscle tension, muscle contraction time, fatigue index and therefore muscle synchronization in a simple and non invasive way, along with the Movement Screening service offer by ThinkFitness, in conjunction with the club staff, we devise specific programs for every individual focused upon the prevention of injury.

These programs have been shown to reduce the muscular injuries experienced at clubs and have also created greater compliancy as players appreciate the increased specificity of the conditioning regime.

TMG – UK with María Sharapova. 

Last Friday TMG-UK travelled to London to perform a complete Tensiomyography test on María Sharapova before her first game at Wimbledon.

The aim of the test was to monitor Maria´s muscle status through the use of our star product, TMG-system and get a complete diagnostic about Maria´s condition with special attention on her right shoulder. Maria has gone through a very long rehabilitation proccess after her shoulder injury in 2007.

Along with María we had the pleasure to meet with Michael Joyce (Maria´s coach) and Juan Reque ( Physiotherapist).

We would like to thank them for trusting our technology as the method to monitor Maria´s muscles status, especially when she was about to start one of the most recognised Tennis tournaments in the world.

We are looking forward to seing them again and we wish María, Michael and Juan all the best not just for Wimbledon, but also for their next tournaments.

TMG presentations at UKSCA congress in Cambridge and Injury Prevention Congress in Madrid.

Last weekend was a busy time for TMG. Our team attended both, UKSCA congress in Cambridge and the 1st International Congress - Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation in Football, which was held in Madrid.
